MEET OUR TEAM

Adam Gockley, Program Director

Adam Gockley has found himself a niche. With 10 years of child care experience and a degree in small business, he has combined his work experience with his education. He now currently runs the first Idea Lab Kids program outside of Houston, Tx.

Adam has been with the company for over 5 years, and has helped to build the program Idea Lab Kids utilizes today. From teaching some of the very first classes, to writing some of the amazing curriculum Idea Lab uses, to training 40+ camp counselors to tackle the Summer ahead, there is very little he cannot do with the STEM Enrichment program that Idea Lab Kids offers.

His experience with youth comes from Summer Camps, athletic coaching, and classroom teaching. Following his graduation from Southwestern University, Adam returned to his high school alma mater to teach, coach, and dorm parent a dorm of 50 senior boys. This, in addition to his work with The Boys and Girls Club, has prepared him to take on the challenge of opening a new Idea Lab Kids program in a new city!

Adam continues to learn and grow with the Idea Lab in hopes of creating a program that grows to be nationwide. In his move to Austin, he has found himself very busy with all of the great outdoor recreational opportunities as well as the live music scene. His hope is to develope a program that meets the educational needs of Austin Families.
